Channeling Stock - rising channel and falling channel.
Stock channeling technique is one of the most efficient and widely used trading technique. Price channel represents price movement bound by parallel lower (support) and upper (resistance) trend lines. Channels with rising trend lines (rising channel) are considered bullish and the falling channel is considered as bearish . Channels are continuation formations as far as support and resistance are not broken.
Trading technique:
# 1
Buy channeling stock on support and sell on resistance.
# 2 For bullish channel: sell channeling stock when price breakes the stock channeling support line. For bearish channel: buy channeling stock when price breaks the resistance line.
Tips:
# 1 For the best results, stock channeling should be considered together with other technical analysis signals and technical trading techniques.
Estimated Target: the main trend support/resistance line.

Long-term trend: [See FIS long-term trend chart]
A long-term uptrend had started on November 21, 2008 at 11.15 and reached 158.21 on February 14, 2020. FIS gained -147.06 points, or -1318.92%, in 586 weeks. The chart has formed a Broadening Ascending Wedge chart pattern. The uptrend resistance line (80.41) is broken. Usually a broken resistance is considered to be a long-term bullish signal, although a short-term pull back is possible. Use the following links to access Trend Support/Resistance Help, or use the Technical Stock Screener to see the list of stocks with broken trend resistance line in a long-term trend.

Medium-term trend: [See FIS medium-term trend chart]
A medium-term uptrend had started on March 18, 2020 at 91.68 and reached 143.40 on June 8, 2020. FIS gained -51.72 points, or -56.41%, in 11 weeks. The chart has formed a Rising Channel chart pattern. The uptrend support line (140.19) is broken. Usually a broken support is considered to be a long-term bearish signal, but since daily indicators are oversold a short-term pull back is possible. FIS may retest the broken support line. It is considered to be a resistance line now. Use the following links to access Trend Support/Resistance Help, or use the Technical Stock Screener to see the list of stocks with broken trend support in a medium-term trend.

Weekly Technical Indicators: [See FIS weekly technical indicators chart]
Weekly Lane's Stochastic is overbought. Use the Technical Stock Screener to see the list of stocks with overbought weekly Lane's Stochastic. Oscillators are designed to signal a possible trend reversal. They can act as alerts and should be taken in conjunction with other technical analysis tools. Oscillators can be used to confirm other technical signals. Use the following link to access Lane's Stochastic help.

The weekly MACD line is above its signal line since May 22, 2020. This is an indication that the medium-term trend is up. The distance between MACD and the signal line is low and getting smaller. It indicates that the current medium-term uptrend is getting weak. Use the following link to access a MACD help.

Short-term trend: [See FIS short-term trend chart]
A short-term downtrend had started on June 8, 2020 at 143.40 and reached 130.22 on June 26, 2020. FIS lost 13.18 points, or 9.19%, in 18 days. Price is near the trend low.

Daily Technical Indicators: [See FIS daily technical indicators chart]
Daily Williams' Percentage Range is oversold. Use the Technical Stock Screener to see the list of stocks with daily oversold Williams' Percentage Range. Use the following link to access Williams' Percentage Range help.

The daily MACD line is below its signal line since June 10, 2020. This is an indication that the short-term trend is down.

During the last week, the price has fallen below the Parabolic SAR (stop and reversal). A Parabolic SAR above the price is a bearish signal, and it indicates that momentum is likely to remain in the downward direction. A Parabolic SAR is used as a trailing stop loss for long or short positions. It works best during strong trending periods. Use the following links to access Parabolic SAR Help, or use the Technical Stock Screener to see the list of stocks with the Parabolic SAR close to the price level.

During the last week, the price has crossed below the 50 Day Moving Average. While the medium-term trend is up and daily technical indicators are oversold, the 50 Day Moving Average is considered a support level. The moving average crossover signals work better when the stock develops a strong trend, but they are ineffective when the stock is in a trading range. Moving average crossover systems can be effective, but should be used in conjunction with trend patterns, momentum indicators, candlesticks and other aspects of technical analysis. Use the following links to access Moving Average Crossover trading technique, or use the Technical Stock Screener to see the list of stocks with the Moving Average close to the price level.
